Gene Sullenberger
A native Virginian, Gene began his career in the insulation industry working as an installer during high school and college. After graduating from Virginia Tech in 1976 with a degree in Business Administration, he located in Charlottesville and has been servicing the insulation needs of Central Virginia, the Piedmont and Shenandoah Valley with a smile on his face and a song in his heart ever since. Recognized for his technical expertise by builders and architects alike, Gene has been involved in the specification and execution of thousands of insulation projects over the course of his 40 years in the industry.
Gina Sullenberger
Along with Gene, Gina joined the insulation industry immediately after graduating from Virginia Tech in 1977. Although well versed and active in all aspects of the business, Ginaās main focus at Weatherseal is accounting and financial management. She represents Weatherseal on a national level with a variety of trade organizations.
James Sullenberger
Born to parents who share a passion for energy conservation, James has been learning about insulation and running a contracting business his whole life. So after graduation from Virginia Tech in 2007 with degrees in Business Administration and Real Estate, it was a natural progression for him to join the company. Today he is a vital contributor as an estimator, Building Analyst and operations manager for the Weatherseal Insulation foam division.
Brian Zelaski
A 1999 graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in both Environmental Studies and Geology, Brian moved to Central Virginia in 2000 and joined the Weatherseal team. Since that time he has filled a variety of positions including the management of a satellite branch. He holds a Building Analyst certificate and is well versed in all aspects of the company, with a special emphasis on new construction. Brian has also been instrumental in expanding Weatherseal’s product line to include gutters.
Frank “Parky” Parkinson
Born and raised in Virginia, Parky started working in the insulation industry in 1975. During his career he has worked in a number of capacities specializing in the retrofitting of existing homes. For 12 years, Parky was a senior technical representative for US Greenfiber, a national cellulose insulation manufacturer. His knowledge of insulation equipment and best practices for installation are an invaluable contribution to Weatherseal.
